Web3 cloud storage, also known as decentralized storage, is a method of storing data where no single entity or authority owns the entire set of servers on which it is hosted. Similar to centralized data storage choices like AWS, decentralized storage can be viewed as the Web3 counterpart of those systems. Decentralized platforms enable to provide universities, organizations, and businesses reasonable storage, saving them from depleting their financial resources to store data on centralized systems like AWS.
